Annual Report 2022
We’ve just published our review of the year up until the end of March 2022.
The Covid 19 pandemic and its ongoing impact on the theatre sector continued to be a large part of our work in the financial year April 2021 to March 2022 as we worked with government and wider stakeholders across the theatre sector to provide guidance on the restrictions and the issues facing theatres. Alongside our Covid response, we continued to provide our core advice services and work as a statutory consultee within planning.

Key impacts:

- played a leadership role in improving the sector’s sustainability including hosting Conference 21: Making Theatres Sustainable and being a lead partner on the award-winning Theatre Green Book

As we emerge from the pandemic, the future for the theatre sector is challenging and unpredictable and Theatres Trust remains a vital advocate and support for the health of the UK’s theatres.
