Palace Theatre tops Plymouth Buildings at Risk List

Luke Pollard, MP for Plymouth Sutton and Devonport, has launched a Buildings at Risk List, highlighting the top 10 buildings in Plymouth that he wants to see restored.

The Palace Theatre, which has been our Theatres at Risk Register since it began in 2006, is top of this new list.

Theatres Trust welcomes the inclusion of the Palace Theatre on this list and the recognition of its value and potential from its local MP.

We have been working with the Historic England, Plymouth City Council and interested members of the local community to find a sustainable and viable future for Plymouth Palace and look forward to discussing the case in more detail with Luke Pollard MP.

Grade II* listed, it is one of Plymouth’s finest surviving Victorian buildings and could make a viable music or community venue. Read more about the Plymouth Palace.
