UK Theatres Grants Scheme
The UK Theatres Small Grants Scheme is a capital fund that awards up to £5,000 to theatres across the UK run by charities and not-for-profit groups that can clearly demonstrate the value capital improvements to their theatres would make to their work in local communities.
In response to the coronavirus crisis, we have repurposed this scheme support theatres to cover the additional costs of reopening after several months’ closure, including making adaptations for increased hygiene and social distancing measures. Please see Theatre Reopening Fund for further details.
See how the UK Theatres Small Grants Scheme has helped the Players Theatre in Thame and the Robin Hood Theatre in Newark.
With thanks
The UK Theatres Small Grants Scheme was launched with funding from the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation and Judy Craymer MBE.
With continued support from the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation and the Charles Michael Holloway Trust the scheme has been extended to 2020.
