Autumn 2017 Building Better Theatres Workshops open for bookings

Autumn 2017 Building Better Theatres Workshops have been announced. Our popular workshops provide training to local authorities and theatre organisations at the early stages of a capital project covering the basics of planning, delivering and fundraising for a building project.

Planning a Capital Project | 1 November 2017

Using case studies of recent capital projects, this workshop will help you gain an overall understanding of what is involved in planning a capital project for a theatre and the confidence to lead one.

Delivering a Capital Project | Tuesday 21 November 2017

The design team, contractors and building contract you use to deliver your capital project need to be right for you. This workshop helps you to understand the client role, the language of construction, and the challenges you’ll face when leading your theatre through this process.

We bring together specialists with expertise in theatre building projects and live case studies to give attendees an introduction to managing capital projects of all sizes.
