Help us stop the demolition of Scarborough Futurist

The Scarborough Futurist theatre sits at no. 12 on our Theatres at Risk register. There are plans to demolish it, and redevelop the site.

The Futurist was a well equipped theatre in good condition when the Council closed it in 2014, with a deep, wide stage and full flying facilities, that can seat 2,155.

The site is currently subject to a planning application for demolition. We have objected to the demolition, and would urge you to as well.
