Alan Rickman Diaries competition

Thanks to publisher Canongate, we are running a competition to celebrate the publication of Alan Rickman’s diaries Madly Deeply.

The beloved and much-missed actor had a fantastic career on stage and on screen.

The book will be launched at a special event with BFI London on Sunday 2 October. Madly, Deeply: A Celebration of Alan Rickman. Hosted by Mark Kermode, it will feature some of Rickman's most celebrated moments on screen and excerpts from his diaries along with some very special guests talking about their friendship and work with him, including but not limited to: Emma Thompson, Ian McKellen, Harriet Walter, Juliet Stevenson, Lindsay Duncan, Eddie Izzard and Dexter Fletcher.

There are two prizes available:

• A pair of tickets to the launch event on 2 October
• A copy of Alan Rickman’s diaries Madly Deeply

Competition closes at midnight on 14 September 2022. Winners will be drawn at random from all entries after this date and will be notified soon after.

Madly, Deeply will be published on 4 October.
