Thanks to departing Chair Tim Eyles

Theatres Trust staff and board would like to thank Tim Eyles as he steps down as Chair after more than six years of fantastic service to the Trust.

Starting the role in February 2015, Tim has overseen an incredible transformation in the organisation’s clarity of focus, increased stakeholder engagement, fundraising and overall profile, including the recruitment of over 25 high profile ambassadors.

He has also been a great source of guidance and strength over the pandemic and Theatres Trust is in a strong position to continue its vital work thanks to his sound governance and leadership.

We wish him the best for his future endeavours.

Paddy Dillon who previously served as Vice Chair has agreed to take on the role of Interim Chair pending the appointment of a new Chair for which the recruitment process is currently underway.

Theatres Trust Director Jon Morgan says "It has been an absolute honour working alongside Tim Eyles since I joined Theatres Trust in 2017. He has been an indefatigable champion of our work and a wonderful source of guidance and support to me and the staff team. I am also delighted that Paddy Dillon has agreed to become Interim Chair to help guide us through the coming months".
