#SaveOurTheatres campaign reaches £1million

Theatres Trust is delighted our campaign with Crowdfunder has raised over £1million with donations from more than 15,700 supporters.

Having launched in September, the campaign has so far supported 55 theatres to raise money critical to their survival as the sector continues to struggle due to Covid-19.

Theatres Trust is also raising money through #SaveOurTheatres to support our free advice service, the only one available to all the UK's theatres, and to add to our Theatre Reopening Fund grant scheme, which is helping theatres with the costs associated with additional safety measures.

Theatres Trust Director Jon Morgan says, “With no date in sight when theatres will be able to fully reopen and government funding not stretching to save every theatre, our beloved theatres still need help. Theatres Trust is doing all it can to support theatres to navigate through the challenges ahead and we are continuing to raise money to help theatres through the #SaveOurTheatres campaign with Crowdfunder.”
