Entertainment and Events Working Group

Theatres Trust Director Jon Morgan has been invited to join the working group looking at how venues might reopen.

DCMS has set up a number of  working groups that will inform its work on reopening the cultural industries. This includes the Entertainment and Events Working Group, which brings together representatives from around the country to develop advice and guidance on the reopening of cultural venues.

We are pleased that Theatres Trust Director Jon Morgan has been invited to join this working group and will be making the case for what support theatres need to protect them through this difficult time and what will need to be in place so staff, artists and audiences can safely return to our country’s brilliant theatres.

Other organisations on the working group include Society of London Theatre / UK Theatre, Royal Albert Hall, Birmingham Royal Ballet, Really Useful Group, One Dance UK, Cadogan Hall, Association of British Orchestras, Nimax, Leeds Playhouse and The Royal Opera House.
