The Old Vic needs your disused barndoors

The Old Vic in London is asking theatres from across the UK for donations of old and disused theatre barndoor lights which will be creatively repurposed and reused for the façade of its extension, The Annex.

The theatre is looking for two types of theatre light fittings, PAR56 Theatre Barndoors and PAR38 Theatre Barndoors. Alternative fittings can be used if they are the same approximate size. Read more about the required specifications.

To donate your barndoors to The Old Vic, you can:

• Take them to the PLASA Show, Olympia (4-6 September) and leave them in the Organiser’s Office on the gallery level of the Grand Hall at the following times: 4 September 10am-6pm, 5 September 10am-7pm, 6 September 10am-4pm. (Register as a visitor using this link)
